The purpose of counselling is to help people understand the reasons for their psychological and emotional difficulties and to challenge and change ways of maladaptive thinking and behaving.

Students may experience difficult times during the studies and the UCO feels it is important to have support in place for these students.

The counsellor at UCO is Clive Carswell and he is usually available (term-time only) at the following times:

  • Tuesdays 10.00am, 11.00am
  • Wednesdays 10.00am, 11.00am
  • Thursdays 10.00am, 11.00am
  • Fridays 1.00am, 2.00am
