Our small, friendly Student Support team provide support, advice and pastoral care to students to help them reach their full potential.
Support and advice is offered on a confidential and impartial basis on a wide variety of issues which may be directly or indirectly affecting their studies, learning support, disability support, help with budgeting and finance, bereavement and personal and childcare issues.

Christopher manages student support and provides welfare and disability advice to students.
If you are having difficulties with your studies due to personal issues or have a disability that is affecting your studies, please feel free to contact him. He can discuss adjustments to your studies, the internal and external support available and can work with you to consider your options.
All enquiries concerning accommodation and UCO bursaries, loans and hardship funding should be directed towards him.

Tiana Jones, Student Learning Advisor
Tiana is available to support students with their learning, as well as to provide the study skills needed to reach their full potential at UCO and beyond.
With over six years’ experience in supporting university students from a variety of universities, as well as general study skills, Tiana is also experienced in providing dyslexia and mental health support.
Students can request one-to-one or group support via email Tiana.Jones@uco.ac.uk. Drop-ins are also welcome, and she is based in Room 3.09.
