Deciding where and what to study can be a big decision. We're here to help you decide if the UCO is right for you.
Our open days run throughout the year and are a friendly, informal way to get a feel for the UCO, find out more about our courses and ask any questions you may have. We are currently offering two open day options:
- on-campus open days, including a tour of our facilities. Numbers for on-campus tours are limited to give you access to limited capacity areas such as our Clinic and to provide and opportunity to chat to our staff and students and ask any questions you may have.
- virtual open days, including presentations and live Q&As with staff and students. If you register for a virtual open day we will send you an email explaining how to join the online session.
Our open days are free but can be very popular, so we ask that you register in advance to let us know you plan to attend using the link below. We will be adding new dates throughout the year so if the dates currently available are unsuitable please check back for updates.
When booking for an open day please let us know of any accessibility requirements we need to be aware of.
"The Open Day gave me a real insight into osteopathy and confirmed that I’d be studying osteopathy at university. It also showed me the great teaching facilities and community feel that the UCO had to offer. My advice to you is, make sure you come to an Open Day - to truly see if it is for you." ~ Sarah, Open Day attendee
Our on-campus open days include a tour of the UCO, but if you are unable to attend one of our on-campus dates or have already attended a virtual open day you can request a one-to-one tour of the UCO, delivered by a member of staff or a UCO student. To book a guided tour of the UCO please contact us to arrange a suitable date and time.
As we continue to operate a COVID-secure environment we would ask that you attend alone if you can, or limit any accompanying friends or family to one person only. You will also be asked to adhere to our other COVID measures, including not attending if you are displaying any symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate and wearing a face mask while on site if possible.
Ask a student
If you would like to ask one of our students a question about studying at the UCO please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our students will do their best to respond to any questions you may have, although any responses will be from their own perspective and it may occasionally be necessary to refer your question on to a member of staff.
