The accommodation options in London are endless, from shared flats and houses to private studios and bedsits, as well as a range of official student halls and residences.
At present the UCO isn't able provide its own accommodation, but we do offer our students support with finding suitable accommodation through University of London Housing Services (ULHS).
Through this service, which is offered free of charge to UCO students, students have access to vetted private accommodation owned by registered landlords as well as private student residences. The service also offers expert advice on finding and choosing accommodation, and guidance of different London areas, rental pricing and more.
In addition, ULHS offer a contact checking service for students prior to signing on the dotted line, and legal advice relating to tenancy rights and agreements.
The ULHS service will be holding regular information sessions for prospective and current students looking for accommodation. Contact us for information.
In addition to the formal service provided through ULHS, prospective and current students also have access to our Accommodation Facebook group. The group provides a place for students to ask for accommodation recommendations, tips and advice, and to find other UCO students who may be interested in sharing. Students can post details of available rooms or properties to rent, or put a call out for fellow flatseekers or available accommodation in a particular area.
