UCO joins Aimhigher London

The UCO is delighted to announce that we have joined the Aimhigher London partnership. Aimhigher works with over 50 partners and engages over 1,000 young people every year in collaborative outreach activities that raise awareness of opportunity, increase aspirations and support young people to make informed choices about their futures.

We are excited to be a part of and work with an organisation such as Aimhigher London. Throughout the academic year, the UCO will be collaborating with Aimhigher on several initiatives including their Year 12 Clinical Skills and Year 10 Science, Engineering and Healthcare collaborative conferences.

This year, the UCO enrolled a former Aimhigher NCOP (National Collaborative Outreach Programme) student, who they will be in touch with to find out how they are settling into the UCO and their studies.

Mubarik Ibrahim, Student Recruitment Officer at the UCO, said: “I am delighted to be able to collaborate with Aimhigher, who for many years have delivered a fantastic programme of activities and opportunities for students from non-traditional backgrounds to engage with higher education institutions across London.”

If you would like to find out more about the work that the UCO and Aimhigher will be undertaking and would like to get involved, please contact Mubarik directly at mubarik.ibrahim@uco.ac.uk.
