HRH The Princess Royal sends message of support

The University College of Osteopathy's Chancellor, HRH The Princess Royal, has written to the UCO to express her support during these unprescedented times.

In a signed letter from Buckingham Palace to the organisations she supports she says:

"As I have had to postpone my visits for this spring and summer, I did just want to record how much I appreciate the difficulties you all face over the next few weeks and months.

"Many of you will have found ways to adapt your skills, which are so important to the organisations you either work or volunteer for, to help in your own isolation or to help others cope better in those many jobs that cannot stop.

"I was planning another charities forum this summer to underline the value of understanding each others strengths and achievements as well as the added value of working better together. The next forum will be especially interesting, with many important lessons to be shared.

"I look forward to hearing from you and catching up as soon as possible. Thank you for all you do, wherever you are."

Charles Hunt, Vice-Chancellor of the UCO says:

"We are very fortunate to have had the support and involvement of Her Royal Highness for many years now, and her kind words are very welcome during this challenging time for us all. I would like to support her letter with my own message of thanks to everyone - staff, students, patients and our wider community - who has worked hard and demonstrated patience and support as we adapt and find new ways to deliver the high quality of teaching, learning and patient care we strive for at the UCO."
