Mr David Hohenschurz-Schmidt, MSc (dist), MOst (hons) is a Senior Research Fellow at the University College of Osteopathy (UCO).
David is an osteopath and pain researcher. He completed a PhD at Imperial College London and has an expertise in clinical trial design for nonpharmacological treatments. Further research interests are placebo and nocebo effects, digital therapeutics, and painful neuropathies. David also serves on the executive committee of the Society for Back Pain Research, works clinically as an osteopath in South London, and teaches internationally.
