Primary specialism: Academic Council Representative

Rob is an osteopath who has worked at UCO, and its predecessor organisation, British School of Osteopathy (BSO), for about 20 years and is currently a Course & Clinic Tutor.

He obtained a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO) from BSO in 1988 and has been in private practice ever since. Since qualifying in 1988, Rob has added to his education by obtaining a BSc (Hons) and then an MSc with merit in Osteopathic Medicine and also now has a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic and Clinical Education. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Rob's career at the BSO/UCO has been similarly impressive with stints as external examiner at various institutions; various functions within the osteopathic regulator General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and member of Academic Council. He has also been an investigating officer and panel member for student Fitness to Practise cases, complaints and appeals and Disclosure and Barring Service cases.
