Research project on headaches - invitation for osteopaths to take part

The University College of Osteopathy is delighted to collaborate on this research project with Osteopaths for Progress in Headaches and Migraines (OPHM). We have received funding from the Osteopathic Foundation (OF) to run a study assessing the current knowledge amongst UK Osteopaths in safety screening and recognition of primary and secondary headaches. The results will be used to inform an e-learning course for Osteopaths on Headache Management.

Headache disorders are currently high on the public health agenda because of their worldwide high prevalence and increasing socioeconomic significance.

You are invited to take part in this study which is informed by the most up-to-date evidence. To be eligible you must be currently a UK registered Osteopath.

The participation in the study can count towards your annual continued professional development (CPD).

The questionnaire should take approx. 15 minutes to fill in. By completing and submitting it your consent to participate in this study will be implied. For more information please watch the short video at the top of this article introducing the EdACHe project.

If you are interested to take part and have not received an email invitation, please contact Elizabeth Huzzey at elizabeth.huzzey@ophm.org who will send you the participant information sheet and the link to take part.

Please note, this is an anonymous survey. It will assess the current knowledge of the broader Osteopathic profession NOT the individual practitioner.
