Kaitlin Coulson is a full-time Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) student at the UCO.

I chose to study at the UCO because...

Felt completely at home. Just one look around and I knew it's where I wanted to be. Everywhere else didn't feel right.

I chose osteopathy because...

Had osteopathic treatment as post-operation physio wasn't right for me. Helped with my depression and anxiety and then became really interested in the subject.

My favourite aspect of the course is...

The tutors. Some of the tutors are so enthusiastic and caring that they make the course enjoyable and make us want to be there everyday. It wouldn't be the same without them.

The atmosphere at the UCO is...

A family one. Despite each year having its own challenges, the older years are so encouraging and helpful when it comes to content and revising or even clinic observations and case histories. Everyone is always happy to help and have a good laugh when we can.

The best thing about studying in London is...

There's so much to do. Never thought I would go to university and end up going salsa dancing on a Monday night with classmates.

My plans for the future are...

Study hard, party hard (while it lasts) and become a good enough osteopath that I can be proud of.

If you were to give one reason why someone would choose to study at the UCO, what would it be?

Atmosphere, which comes from staff, student and location equally. If it feels right, then it's right.
